Course Pricing

IACLE's sponsors have generously supported the development of the IACLE Contact Lens Course. Through the generosity of our sponsors the course is made available to members and students at a reduced cost. Course prices are based upon a country's "Purchasing Power Parity" we refer to as "PPP grouping".  Therefore course prices vary according to the individual country’s "PPP grouping".  Please refer to the global PPP grouping to figure out which group the country in which you live falls into.  By doing so, you will be able to figure out the fee(s) that apply to you.

Languages and formats

It has been a priority to provide these teaching materials in our members' native languages, particularly Chinese, Spanish and Bahasa. Translation into these languages and others has resulted in an enormous collective effort with staff, members and associates involved.

The complete IACLE Contact Lens Course is available in English, Spanish, Chinese (simplified and traditional) and Basha (excluding module 8).

Abbreviated translation projects of core slides have been initiated in languages such as German (released), Korean (released), Russian (released), Italian (pending release) and Portuguese (pending release).  These resources are provided to our members online via the 'member log in' area of our website and are available at IACLE Resource Centers.

The IACLE Contact Lens Course – now in PowerPoint format, free for all to download from our website!!

In an attempt to simplify and improve accessibility, IACLE is making available progressively a PowerPoint version (PPT file) of the IACLE Contact Lens Course.  The PPT format allows educators to create their presentations direct from the source material which is faster and easier enabling them to tailor their lectures towards their needs and local purposes.  Though the PPT version is usable immediately and can be used directly in the classroom IACLE's view is that IACLE’s resources are a source of information from which educators derive a lecture/tutorial/practical/presentation that suits their needs, their institution's need and/or the local profession's requirements. None of our resources are intended to be 'use-as-is' or ‘ready-to-go’ resources as the needs of our members are far too diverse because no two countries are the same.

The content of our main course on DVD is still 'the source’, our PPT versions are a liberal transcription of this and does not replace or substitute the original in a reference sense.  Rather, it is an adjunct resource derived from the original; the DVD version is the textbook source, the PPT version is a presentation derived from the textbook in the interests of brevity, simplicity, directly usable as-is.

The PPT course can be downloaded freely topic by topic from the homepage of our website by selecting the survey called ‘FREE download of the 'IACLE Contact Lens Course' complete survey to access’.  To be able to download the course you must complete a short mandatory questionnaire prior.  All inquiries may be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots.
