We look forward to you joining us on Saturday 21 October for our 6th Virtual Conference themed ‘Incorporating myopia management into teaching’. The half-day event takes place via Zoom from 12:00 – 3:00 pm UK (BST). Registered members will receive the Zoom login details via email.

The theme for our Virtual Conference reflects the growing global concern regarding the increasing prevalence of myopia. The conference aims to provide insights into how myopia management can be integrated into curricula and will cover various aspects of this integration, including practical topics like setting up clinics and labs, clarifying the roles of both students and educators, keeping up to date with the latest research and literature in the field, effectively promoting clinics, and counselling children and parents on myopia management strategies.

The agenda features world renowned experts who will share their knowledge, experiences, and expertise.

Additionally, the conference will include two panel discussions hosted by Chair and IACLE Director Dr Byki Huntjens and Co-Chair and IACLE Secretary / Treasurer Dr Etty Bitton where they will engage with the speakers and facilitate discussions on the conference topics. These segments of the conference will be live streamed to our Facebook page for students and non-members.
