How to Renew / Make a Payment

Annual Invoice Cycle

Membership runs on an annual renewal cycle January to December.

The membership fee is applied to every year a person holds membership.

Renewal invoices are issued by email every December to all members and we request payment by the start of the new year.

When the annual membership fee is renewed membership subscription is classified as ‘active’ along with access codes to the member portal of our website and IACLETOP. When membership has expired, a members’ access to our systems expire and a late fee may apply. Please refer to our terms and condition of membership.

Membership annual agreement

Each time membership is renewed, a member agrees to the following:

When joining IACLE or renewing membership, members acknowledge that the copyright pertaining to all IACLE programs and resources is owned and retained by IACLE. They agree to undertake to ensure that all IACLE educational resources will be used only by them and their students under their direct supervision.

Members must further undertake to ensure that IACLE’s programs and resources will not be used outside of their institution/company or by colleagues, without written permission from IACLE.

Members accept that any unauthorized copying, editing, and/or selling of these educational programs/resources or any part(s) thereof, is strictly prohibited and any infringement of IACLE’s copyright may result in legal action by IACLE against the offending party/parties.

Fellows of IACLE (FIACLE) Renewal – every 3 years

Fellow of IACLE (FIACLE) status must be renewed to be maintained.

Every three years a FIACLE is required to complete an online questionnaire declaring they meet the terms and conditions of the FIACLE program.

Renewing your FIACLE status is a compulsory part of the FIACLE program. If you do not renew your FIACLE status it will expire and you will not be eligible to use the title of ‘FIACLE’.

How to Pay Your Annual Membership Fee

CREDIT CARD

Members are provided with an email containing a link to a secure site to pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard only). We use a Canadian e-commerce company called PSiGate who processes payments.

If you experience any problems paying, please contact your bank first as you may need to seek clearance for the transaction to be approved by your bank.

The following alternate payment methods are available – please note using any of these options require extra action

CASH

Can be made in person at your local IACLE office (please do NOT mail/post cash).

BANK TRANSFER (fee applies)

Some offices have a local bank account such as our offices in India, Korea and China. All other transfers must be sent to our head office account in Canada. Please note that IACLE is charged approximately US$30 in bank fees on all wire transfers received in our Canadian bank account. Therefore, transferring funds to this account incurs a US$30 fee on top of your invoice total.

Example – if your annual fee is US$100, you are required to transfer US$130 in total.  Sending just US$100 via direct transfer will result in an insufficient amount being received by IACLE.

A payment description such as your first and last name must be provided and we also request an email be sent to us informing on the day the transaction was made and the amount sent. If we do not receive notice (email) or a name is not provided with the transaction we may not be able to assign the payment to a particular member and you will continue to receive invoice reminders.

Expired members wanting to reactivate their membership

When a member has not renewed their membership by 31 January, their membership expires and they will no longer have access to full membership benefits. If the member subsequently pays the annual fee, their membership can be reinstated for that year.

If membership has expired for 1 – 2 years, the member must pay the late fee per year of lapsed membership in addition to the annual fee for each year. When membership has expired for over 2 years, the member must reapply to join IACLE and their membership begins from the date the application is approved.

Members who have achieved Fellow of IACLE (FIACLE) status but whose membership has expired for 3 years or more, lose their FIACLE status. FIACLE status cannot be renewed just by renewing IACLE membership, nor can they use the suffix FIACLE. The member is required to successfully complete the Fellowship Exam again and on approval can become a FIACLE again.

Refunds

IACLE does not provide refunds for change of mind or if a member chooses to cancel their membership and or participation in any of our paid programs (Fellowship Exam and Student Trial Exam).
